Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
I went to the speech contest and was amazed on how classes bonded with each other to make sure everyone did their part. I was really happy that I would make friends from countries in my class because of these events.
Which co-curriculum classes did you find most satisfying?
Japanese Conversation Class
Why did you select this program?
The location of the school was convenient for me and I heard good things about KCP from teachers at WWU.
What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?
The most productive aspect of the program was the English service available to English speakers to help with Japanese. There was no least interesting aspect because everything taught was invaluable to learning Japanese.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
I found Kaho Sensei's English support sessions were the best way to get help for questions. Also, I found that group conversation was really helpful because it not only showed my weaknesses but also gave me an opportunity to improve my conversation.
Where did you reside over the course of this program?
Dormitory
Where did you live?
Tanashi, Nishi-Tokyo, Tokyo
Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?
The Tanashi Dorm exceeded my expectations. I was very pleased with everything especially the people that ran the dorm.
