Don't be afraid to be yourself.

Dustin from Winter 2015

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The Fuji-Q trip was the most satisfying because it allowed me to try and speak with my fellow classmates in a non-structured conversation

Why did you select this program?

Time, cost and experience that it offered.

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

I was very pleased, you form a friendship with your neighbors and continuing students. It helps you deal with difficulties inside and out of the classes.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

Don't be afraid to be yourself. People are just as worried and scared as you are and you can meet some wonderful people if you let you be yourself. I stayed for one semester but I have made better friends in that time than some people I have known for years.

Any other comments or suggestions?

Star chips taste like Pringles, the Comodi's gyudon next to Ikebukuro Ryo is delicious and have fun!

I selected this program because I saw a favorable review for it in my Japanese club’s newsletter, and I had been looking for a study abroad in Tokyo. I also liked how inexpensive the program was and how the offered dormitories, which few other programs did.
